Jan 6th,Despite the rain and storm that was brewing, A.J.Hacketts bungy jump was still doing business. They have a sunset special- buy one jump, get the next one free!
From our balcony at Tune Hotel, we could see this resort with a swimming pool, so we went and asked if we could take a dip. The whole place had been booked by a stag party, but they had gone out for a few hours, so the owner let us in on condition that we leave when they returned. Had the whole place to ourselves for a few hours--luxury in this heat!!
Even had a fully stocked bar, but we resisted the temptation to help ourselves!
After our dip, we walked down the beach to Kuta beach, and stopped for an ice-cream at McD's. 
Each roundabout here has a huge statue in the middle. Homage to some god, not sure who.
Walked back home along the beach, had to take another picture ! Unbelievable that they let the beaches pile up like this. Even more amazed at the deck chairs ( with people on them) are set right over the top of the trash.
