Arrived in SUNNY! England, Tuesday afternoon, after a 10 hr flight from San Francisco. Lovely to see the family again, but even better was the Fish and Chips dinner!! Spent the next few days with family, eating our favorite foods and walking around London. Went to our local Saturday market, and realized how things have changed in London. Nearly all of the stalls were run by Arabs, and most of the people up the market were Arabs. Our little group of 4 , were definitely in the minority.

As we walked down the street to Hyde Park, almost every shop name was in Arabic, with men sitting outside smoking hookah pipes and drinking coffee. Weird feeling that you were in the middle of London, yet you could have been in the middle of some Arab country.

Monday morning we caught the train from London to Maureen's sister house in the country.
