Feb 7th
Rented motorbikes out for the day. Went to Ubod, supposed to be highter elevation, so cooler. Lots of temples, art shops, and beautiful scenery. This is one of the larger temples. You have to rent out cover-ups to enter.

At one end of town is The monkey sanctuary. Basically, this is a forest area with 3 large temples in it surrounded by monkeys. They have become used to the feedings of bananas, and can be quite aggressive if you do not feed them! Lots of beautiful trees though!

On the way home passed this Silver Shop. It definately gets your attention. Yes, those are frogs all over the wall, and angels on top of the building. Not sure what the significance is. Rode our bikes back to the cinema and watch Avatar. Great movie. Then had dinner and watched Chelsea play Arsenal at the pub at midnight! Chelsea won 2-0!!

Feb 8th,

Woke up to thunder and lightening, getting to be the norm. Walked to the street for breakfast and saw that it was flooded!

Good entertainment watching everyone struggling to get through the street.
